Welcome to SF Day
Dear Prospective Family,
On behalf of our faculty, staff, and parent community, it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our admission process at San Francisco Day School. We are delighted that you are considering our program for your family.
We understand that you are beginning a journey that will consume most of your time over the next several months. We are here to make the process as informative as possible for your family so that you can spend your time learning about who we are in this experience. I know that at the end of your search you will have a deeper understanding of what is important to you, your child(ren), and your family as a whole.
Each year, depending on attrition we can accept several students in grades 1 through 8. Kindergarten is our main entry point. We do not expand in 6th grade but welcome your call and inquiry about available spaces in our 1st-8th grade classrooms.
We invite you to navigate through our website, visit our school, and ask us any questions throughout your search. We want you to leave our school having had the opportunity to see, reflect upon, and wonder about how our school may fit with your child and family. The school staff, parent volunteers, and our admission team are here to help in any way we can.
The SF Day Annual Spring Neighborhood Open House is on Saturday, May 5 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. This is a self-guided, unstructured event for our friends and neighbors to take a peek inside our school and walk through our halls. Please RSVP online.
Our fall admission events will be updated on our website for the 2019 application season by the end of this summer. Please visit our website to schedule your fall admission events on September 1, 2018.
Looking forward to meeting your family in person.
