Piano & Drum Lessons

Instructor: Brian Fruechtenicht
Days: Tuesday-Thursday

Brian is thrilled to return as our drum and piano instructor. As with last year, Brian looks forward to growing with the children, interacting with the parents, and building a solid music program here at San Francisco Day School!

Brian Paul Fruechtenicht has been playing and teaching the drums professionally for over 20 years. After seven years of enjoyable piano lessons as a child, Brian moved on and joined his high school drum line at the age of 15. He carried his passion for music into higher education and received a BA in Percussion Performance from CSU Chico in 1997. Brian then furthered his musical training and career by graduating from the prestigious UNT Music Program with an MM in Performance in 2000. Brian has been working and teaching in San Francisco for the last 14 years, and he is also the founder and owner of Dynamic Drumming Studio, located in the SOMA district.
